Celebrate Friendship: Unleash the Ultimate Galentine's Day Experience! - Nifty Package Co

Hi everyone,

I have something to admit. My business revolves around gifts, celebrations and connections, yet I haven’t had more than a couple of female friends over at once for over a year. Does that make me a hypocrite? Probably.

But I'm not alone. Statistics show we crave friendships and new connections, but hosting feels daunting. We’re too tired, worried about dust, uncertain about food and drinks, facing early mornings, juggling family and business, and binge-watching shows.

We want the connection and joy of social gatherings, minus the hassle. The tremendous value of small gatherings to our soul where fostering connections, enhancing communication and creating an environment where individuals can be themselves while building and strengthening relationships. Personally, although I love being with people, I tend to refresh alone but sometimes it is more about laziness!

During and after the pandemic, there were long term effects of social isolation which truly affected so many!

At Nifty Package Co, we’re fans of this alchemy, and I’m committed to embodying a better role. I was thinking this past holiday season that I did not attend one event because I am so busy but I also wasn’t invited to one. That tells me right away, I have not been good at small parties this past year or reaching out the way I should. This is changing this year, as a friend invited me to go dancing at a local country bar, something I don’t do and I was very proud of myself. I said yes and met her, met some new women and danced away!

Next, I plan to go bigger. I’m inviting three, maybe four, women to my house for a Galentine's gathering in February. They might notice the dust on my dark floors, the paint that is chipping on the outside of the house, and my desk in the front room. I’ll feel the extroversion stress. But serving Champagne Cocktails will help me build a healthier social life.
