At Nifty Package Co. we believe love is an action & giving back to the community is an important part of our story. Chef Bruno, a remarkable local man who we admire for his dedication to service and charity, experienced a devastating loss, and we are compelled to act.
The historic White House Restaurant, built in 1909, used to feed over 1,800 children per day until a tragic electrical fire decimated the property. The landmark restaurant hosted thousands of events and was a beloved part of the community. Insurance will rebuild the structure, but it may take over a year to complete. Chef Bruno employed many Orange County locals who are now suddenly unemployed. This quick NBC Story is a MUST WATCH.
An upcoming fundraiser will help by donating 100% of the proceeds to the former White House Restaurant employees. We are giving our time & materials to create auction gifts for the fundraiser, and we need YOUR help! If you are a family or small business who wants to give gift certificates, services, or goods we want to hear from you! We need everything by Friday, February 17th to package them in time for the auction. All donations will be credited & we'll provide receipts for tax deductions.
